CONCEPT-PROJECT OF MODULAR HOUSES FOR INTERNALLY DISPLACED PERSONS (IDPS)
The relevance of the topic lies in the fact that the current situation in Ukraine is extremely challenging due to the war, which has led to the mass displacement of population and the destruction of many residential buildings. This has created an acute need for quality and affordable housing for internally displaced persons. Modular towns represent the most efficient solution to this problem, as they can be quickly constructed, and their functionality is equivalent to conventional houses. These towns become places where refugees can find shelter and support from people with similar experiences, thus facilitating their psychological rehabilitation and return to normal life.
The object of the study is rapid construction houses for internally displaced persons, while the subject of the study is the formation of housing environment design for refugees based on modular buildings. The aim of the research is to develop interior and exterior design of a modular town for internally displaced persons, taking into account all the housing needs of future residents on limited building space. The research tasks include analyzing international and domestic experience in modular system construction, examining the volumetric-planning and functional organization of modular buildings, determining criteria for assessing physiological and psychological comfort of temporary housing, as well as justifying the feasibility and implementation concept of the project.Location and Territory Planning:
Chosen territory near the village of Novoselivka near Chernihiv with a flat relief for convenience of construction work and access to the city. Planned construction of communal residential blocks as well as playgrounds and sports grounds.
Architectural Concept:
Use of white color as the main one and wood to create a calm and natural atmosphere. Green areas of the internal and external territory to support clean air and reduce stress.
Functional Zoning:
The residential block is divided into 4 apartments with entrance area, sanitary-technical, kitchen, and living area.
Furniture and Equipment Design:
Selection of furniture considering not only aesthetics but also convenience and ergonomics. Development of new designer solutions for maximizing space utilization.
Environmental Friendliness and Affordability:
Use of quality and environmentally friendly materials that care about comfort and the environment. Ensuring the affordability of construction and operation of modular housing.
This concept aims to create a living space that not only meets the basic needs of residents but also contributes to their physical and psychological well-being while maintaining the affordability and environmental friendliness of construction and operation.
